A very well looked after 2000m2 Mediterranean garden with Olive trees, lavanders and roses create a peaceful heaven ideal for lazy summer days. On one side of the house, a laguna shaped swimming pool is secured by a couple of descrete gates for young children’s security (the pool also has an alarm system), a large stone terrace right in front of the house is facing the pool, in one corner of the garden a built-in barbecue is discretely and safely standing, and at the back a field for the ‘pétanque’ game is waiting for the players. On the East side of the house, the other part of the garden of amlost the same size benefits from a sunshine exposure for the first part of the day and is composed a a grass lawn, a parking area on the side, and a stone terrace leading to the entrance hall.

The elegant entrance hall opens up to a large seating area with three comfortable sofas facing a stone fireplace and surrounded by large windowns on the three surrounding walls. An open passage leads down one step to another living area with a beautiful open modern kitchen and a dining area. The windows on three sides again open directly onto the terrace and garden.
There is one double bedroom with a 160x200cm bed on the garden level with its en-suite shower room, but with no direct access to the garden. The other bedrooms are located on the upper floor. Half way up the stairs if a blind room with a double bed, which can be a children play room or a rest room. Up the first floor are two double bedrooms, each with ensite shower rooms, (one withe a 140x200cm bed and the other with a 160x200cm bed), and two kids rooms sharing a bathroom, each with two single beds. The first floor rooms are equiped with air conditioning.
The village of Montferrier-sur-lez is one of the most beautiful and best preserved village in the region, it is perched on a hill top and dominated by its old castle and church from which you can admire the surrounding countryside, Montpellier city and also the sea at a distance. The village has a few local shops, such as a bakery, a butcher, an organic mini market, a pharmacy, a restaurant etc.
This house is ideal for families looking for a peaceful holiday in a traditional village though close to the vibrant Montpellier and to the sea.
