Mas des Pins is a peaceful two-level villa surrounded by nature, within walking distance of the village of Montferrier-sur-Lez.
This charming villa offers various amenities such as a swimming pool, a covered dining area with barbecue, a tennis court, lots of sun loungers and parasols, a huge garden and a boules game playing area (pétanque). Spread across 5,000 m2, Mas des Pins benefits from 2 kitchens, 3 living rooms, a spacious billiard room and 5 large bedrooms, 4 of which have en-suite bathrooms.

The elegant architecture of this villa wows the visitor upon entry. Its tradtitional features and generous dimensions hancker to a forgone era: from the heavy wooden main door to the tall windows, which make the house light and airy.
On the opposite side, the south facade presents beautiful tall arched windows opening onto the garden, characteristic of South-of-France country architecture. The large number of windows on both sides of the house allow plenty of light at all time of the day, making it a perfect place for filming and photo shooting; notwithstanding, the house remains fresh during the summer days thanks to its thick stone walls.
Through the entrance door, there is direct access to the main living room. The classic and refined interior decoration complements the graceful architecture of this house. Lots of confortable sofas are awaiting guests in the three distinct living rooms in enfilade; one of them is a TV room and another benefits from a beautiful stone fireplace.
There are two kitchens in this house, one contemporary, very well-equipped kitchen with fridge, induction stove, modern oven and dish-washer, and another one behind it which complement the first one with its traditional iron stove, side-by-side fridge and freezer, and lots of storage and cooking space. The open dining area is composed of a stylish and unassuming wood table with benches.
The house can accommodate up to 12 people maximum in a total of 5 bedrooms. Three of them can be found on the ground floor and have en-suite bathrooms with either bathtub or shower; the other two bedrooms are located on the first floor, one of then has an en-suite shower room and the other is a large bedroom with a double bed, a sofa bed and extra mattresses for children’s use. Each bedroom is equipped with a fan for the guests to use at will. A billiard room is located on the upper level and lots of books and board games await guests as well during their stay.
The 5,000 m2 garden is composed of a central lawn surrounded by centenary olive trees and pine trees which provide partial shading and a tranquil atmosphere to guests. There are two terraces, one in front of the house equipped with confortable garden sofas and parasols and one covered terrace to the side of the central lawn, with long wooden tables and seats to accommodate al fresco dining. Further down the garden, you will find the swimming pool (14×6 metres) surrounded by a stone terrace and multiple sun loungers and parasols, to relax beneath the summer sun. Mas des Pins also holds a private tennis court for travellers’ entertainment (this court is not surrounded by fences though so cannot be considered as a professional tennis court).
The house offers extensive parking next to the entrance, including a covered parking area.
Montferrier-sur-Lez is a peaceful village located no more than 20 minutes away from Montpellier (by car). From Mas des Pins, travellers can walk to the village center to the lovely weekly market, choose from the two excellent bakeries, and other local shops such as the butcher, the grocery store and the café bar.
Local attractions:
The Musée Fabre, which is located in the centre of Montpellier along with multiple other museums, can be reached by car in 20 minutes.
The Montpellier Zoo and Golf Pic St Loup are less than a 10-minute drive.
To experience the coast-life, guests need only travel 30 minutes by car to reach the beaches of Palavas-Les-Flots or La Grande Motte.
