Villa Zen: Japanese -inspired design villa with indoor gardens, lush landscape and infinity swimming pool

Inspired by Japanese traditional architecture, this villa is nestled on top of a hill among tall pine trees and benefits from a beautiful view over the countryside and the famous Pic Saint-Loup mountain.

It is surrounded by several deck terraces flanking a beautiful infinity pool of 11 x 6 meters and embellished by a large landscaped Mediteranean garden.

Nature is also part of the inside architecture of the house as it embraces several enclosed gardens with large picture windows and glass doors that flood the house with light. Extending over 300 square meters over two floors, the house welcomes guests through a main entrance that leads through a winding glass corridor flanked by indoor gardens on either side, to a very spacious double-height living room, which overlooks the garden and pool. Wide sliding glass doors open to create one unique harmonious space between the inside and outside on both sides. The imposing open kitchen with a central island is fitted with the best equipment to suit the most demanding chefs. Contemporary artwork and design furniture come together under the impressive visible wood beams to create a balanced and elegant ensenmble. The formal dining area is in a separate room, at the back of the living room in a cosier space and opens onto a private indoor garden.

A corridor leads to the bedrooms area. The master bedroom is fitted with a 180×200 size bed (super king) and large glass door that open onto a private terrace, that leads to the garden. This room has an en-suite bathroom with a chromotherapy bathtub and walk-in shower which looks into another indoor garden. Also in this area, guests will enjoy a separate tiled hammam with shower. The villa offers other 3 double bedrooms with 140×200-size beds, each directly leading to a private terrace through glass doors, and from there to the garden beyond. 2 of these rooms have an en-suite shower room. Finally, there is one family bathroom with both a bathtub and shower, which gives to an indoor garden.

There are two sets of stairs leading to the first floor loft, either from the bedroom corridor or from the living room; neither of thes has a balustrade, hence they are not well suited for young children. The first floor has a large 45 m2 open space funished with comfortable sofas, a library, a office area, a large flat screen TV, an exercise bicycle and a treadmill. This room could accommodate two more people on sofa beds.
Another separate TV room with comfortable sofas (and railings) overlooks the living room.
