Villa Bel-Air is a stylish and spacious villa located on a hill overlooking the village of Saint-Gély du Fesc near Montpellier in the Occitanie region. This 2-level home has a unique design that perfectly combines architecture and nature. Designed by the famous architect Maurice Sauzet, Villa Bel-Air is sure to provide its guests an exceptional experience with its various modern amenities and open spaces.
This elegant villa dominates a beautiful garden with terraces and stunning views over the surrounding hills.
On the lower level, the 14-metre infinity swimming pool is surrounded by flower beds and a terrace, where 6 sunbeds are available for guests. This area is complemented by a refined waterfall fountain from the ground floor which falls to the lower garden, creating a calming and soothing environment. Two gates protect the swimming area for children’s safety. Going up a set of stairs, the main house garden impresses with a magnificent view of the hills and the Golf de Coulondres course, and offers an expansive lawn, a pétanque pitch and a ping-pong table. The terrace is equipped with a gas barbecue and a plancha to enjoy summer meals al fresco, an outdoor sitting area overlooking the swimming pool and hills, and a dining table for 10 can be extended with 2 other tables that are on the other side of the huge sliding glass doors.
The interior of Villa Bel-Air flawlessly blends serenity and high-end design. From the outdoor living area, there is direct access to the indoor dining area for 12. The open-floor concept allows for fluid access to the fully equipped, spacious kitchen with contemporary designs and a central island, and to the living room with a leather sofa, wall-mounted flat-screen TV and a high-quality audio equipment. At the center of this open space is a spectacular glasshouse with an interior garden which goes up 2 levels. From the living area, travelers will be mesmerised by the sounds of the water from the fountain trickling down to the lower garden and the breathtaking views of the village on the hills. On the East side of the house a separate corridor leads to the first bedroom section which comprises 3 double bedrooms (160 x 200cm).
Two of the rooms have direct access to a private terrace fitted with chairs and endowed with views of the swimming pool and its surroundings. These rooms share a spacious family bathroom equipped with a shower, a bathtub, and a separate toilet. The master bedroom is on the west side of the ground floor; it is composed of two rooms, one sitting room with a chic leather sofa and an office area, and a sleeping room with a double bed (160 x 200cm) with direct access to a private terrace and garden views. The private bathroom is equipped with an open shower and a large bathtub. The toilet is independent.
The upper level of the villa is accessible via two different staircases leading to a very large landing area used as a playroom or sitting room facing large sliding glass doors and a terrace. There are two other bedrooms on this floor, one double bedroom (160 x 200cm) with its en-suite shower room and a second bedroom with 2 single beds.
The village center is just a stone’s throw away from the house and about 20 minutes drive to Montpellier city center. The beaches of the Mediterranean coast are 30 to 40 minutes away. Villa Bel-Air is ideally located walking distance to a few supermarkets.
