Mas de La Poste is a vast and luxuriously renovated Provençal Mas, a traditional country estate. With a stunning private swimming pool, gardens spread over 2,500m2, large terraces, a jacuzzi and more sporting activities than one could dream of, Mas de La Poste has all the amenities for the ideal holiday.
From the entrance hall, the visitor will immediately see the games room, a hub of entertainment: Bang and Olufsen sound quality as you enjoy a game of billiards or foosball, and afterwards you can enjoy a cocktail at the bar. To the right, a light and airy living room welcomes guests with natural tones and Scandinavian designs, from the plush sofa and to the wood tables, or the array of traditional Provençal decoration updated for a modern look. This space gives directly onto the dining room, accentuated by a stunning weeping tree. Further, you will find the eat-in kitchen, fitted with state-of-the-art appliences: 4 different ovens, a side-by-side fridge and freezer, dishwasher, induction hobs, Moulinex XXL companion etc. The laundry room is next to the kitchen, with both a washing machine and tumble dryer as well as ironing board and iron.
On the other side of the game room, you will find the gym fully equipped with weights, cross trainer, exercise bike, boxing bag, yoga mat, ladder, trampoline, and TV. The gym makes the perfect start for a day relaxing in the sun.
The bedrooms are distributed on both floors of the villa; they are all equippped with air-conditioning and all but one, with TVs. The playfully decorated children’s dormitory (up to 7 children) on the ground floor has its own shower room, as does the other double bedroom on the ground floor, fitted with a queen-sized double bed.
The first floor contains an additional 4 bedrooms: the master suite has a king-sized bed, a dressing room, and an en-suite bathroom with two showers; two further double bedrooms welcome you with beautiful personal touches and elegant plants; and the final bedroom has twin beds (the Jungle Room). The upstairs area also offers a wide selection of games for children, as well as an office area with a printer.
When you’re not bathing in the shade of the Mediterranean pines, or relaxing in the jacuzzi, Mas de La Poste keeps even the most active families occupied: with mini golf, pétanque, ping-pong, basketball, football cages, badminton and a trampoline all on site, both the young and the wise are spoilt for choice.
The large poolside terrace has modern corner sofas which can sit guests under a sea of warm light, completely immersed in the serene natural setting. Thanks to a second large outdoor dining area with a summer kitchen, family and friends can dine by the poolside on those sultry summer evenings. A professional grade plancha grill and barbecue, a fridge and an outdoor Bluetooth sound system are also available.
With parking for up to 4 cars on the property, there’s no limit to your freedom on the beautiful South Coast : you are 5 minutes away from the village’s centre and the beaches, and only 15 minutes from central Montpellier and its airport. Mas de La Poste is located in the commune of Saint-Aunès, founded by the Romans and focused on the production of fruits and wine, making it a dream destination for history aficionados and foodies alike. It benefits from an elevated topographic position (it was used for military bases in classical times) thus ensuring the village is endowed with awe-inspiring landscapes and breathtaking sunsets. You are also a short drive away from the natural region of Camargue, internationally recognised for its conservation efforts and home to over 400 species of bird as well as Camarguais horses, whose stunning white herds roam freely most of the year. There’s plenty of places which offer either a lush natural setting, a prime location, or luxurious facilities, but nowhere that quite brings it all together as Mas de La Poste does – which is why it has been featured on national TV.
